The Astrakhan region is placed in the south-west of Russia on the flat ground of the lowland of Caspian region. The climate is a harshly continental. The most comfortable periods for rest are April-May and August-October. The delta of Volga is a real bird kingdom. You can see here such rare and beautiful birds as a pink flamingo, a curly pelican, an erne and others. In North of Caspian Sea and Volga delicacy fishes live: white sturgeons, sturgeons, sterlets and stellate sturgeons. It is a one of rare places where you can see a very beautiful lotus flower growing on the thousands of hectares. Have you ever inhaled aroma of lotus? No? And have you ever seen how it blossoms out? No?!!! And this all is near us, in the Astrakhan reserve, to which UNESCO gave a biospheric status.

   For many of our clients ‘Pink Flamingo’ base is associated with ‘sea of fishes’, ‘sea of sun’, ‘sea of gamebirds’, ‘sea of animals’ and ‘sea of pleasure’. One thing that they don’t like is that time flies faster than sand through fingers. They have just come, quartered, got used to carry trophies to a refrigerator, and vacation is over already. Fishers will have photo cards of their trophies: cat-fishes weighing till 141 pounds, pikes – till 33, sazans – till 44, perchs – till 4,5, zanders – till 33, breams – till 6,5, asps - till 11. Should we say of a sabrefish and a Caspian roach?

   Hunters have less choice of tropies: a hare, a fox, a wolf, a wild boar, a pheasant and a wild duck. Chasseurs will prompt where, whom, when and which bait to use or will help to organize successful hunt. We had decided a question of a deep freeze of trophies a long time ago – you will bring home all safe. If you want you can commit to our specialists cutting of fishes, gamebirds and animals. There are also stationary places for curing by smoking.

   You can fish any time of year but the most popular seasons are since April till May and since July till October. There is a limit for hunters: since the second week of September till the last week of November is a season of fowling (for a wild duck, teals of all types, a grey duck, a shoveler, a sheld-duck, a pintail, a garrot, a pochard, a cormorant, a sandpiper), and since November till March – of hunting.

    There are two types of accommodation: lux and half-lux. There is a lavatory, a TV, a refrigerator, a shower, hot and cold water in every hotel room. VIP-class rooms are equipped with a bath and a bidet. If our Client wishes, a professionally qualified cook will make courses, ordered in compliance with an individual menu, and they will be delivered to a hotel room. If you want, our cook can prepare your trophies also.

   If you are a beginner in hunting, then our chasseurs will find a good place for making an ambush, put out and place stuffed birds in a good way, help to gather and cut trophies, to cook a fish-soup, roan soup and ‘shulyum’.

   Are you a specialist in the furry-animals? Come to us in November and you can hunt for a hare, a fox, a raccoon, a badger, a polecat, a marten and a wolf. There is no limit for hunting for the last.
